At New Hope Fellowship, we offer a range of programs to support our children's ministry one of them is Cadets where
the children can do crafts, projects, Bible lessons, earn badges, games, snacks.... Cadets has it all! It's a program to help kids grow spiritually in all areas of life.
The Cadets were taught some woodworking skills and learned how to make a stool. They measured, cut,
pre-drilled holes for the screws, learned how to use a kreg jig to drill the pocket screws, applied wood glue to the joints, sanded, stained, and sealed the wood. They learned a ton and hand fun in the process!
During the holidays we learned to make pumpkins pies from scratch. First we roasted the pumpkin, scrape the pumpkin pulp out of the pumpkin and pureed it. We proceed to add ingredients to the puree and baked the pies. It was fun creating something that we could eat!
We hosted a cornhole tournament. There was a fee for the tournament to participate and Cadets sold hot dogs, sodas and chips to help raise funds so the Cadets can continue doing fun activities where they have fun and learn.
At New Hope Fellowship, our children's ministry do amazing things.
Over the years, we have helped countless individuals and families overcome financial, medical, and social challenges. Our success stories are a testament to the impact of our programs and the dedication of our team and supporters. Our Cadets were filling Blessing Bags so our Outreach Committee can hand them out to those in need.
